Important Instructions
Read these before you apply — these are the points that trip most people up.
Your name, father’s name, mother’s name, and date of birth must match exactly with your Class 10 certificate. Any mismatch at Document Verification will get your candidature cancelled immediately.
Fill your domicile state and district with great care in the CRPF Constable Tradesman Online Form 2026 — no changes are allowed post-submission. If the state/district in your form doesn’t match your Domicile Certificate at DV, you will be disqualified on the spot and not allowed to appear in the Medical Examination.
Candidates from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh do not need to submit a Domicile/PRC certificate as these states don’t issue them. Their residential status will be verified directly from District Authorities.
Pioneer Wing vacancies are on All India Basis — any candidate from any state can apply for Mason or Electrician.
Do not bring a mobile phone to any stage of the examination — even switched off. It carries a 3-year debarment. Impersonation or forged documents lead to a 7-year ban.
All admit cards for every stage are available online only at rect.crpf.gov.in — nothing will be sent by post. Bring two colored printouts of the admit card to each stage. One copy will be surrendered at the examination centre.
If you are finally selected and don’t receive any communication from CRPF within 1 month of the final result, contact the CRPF helpline immediately.
Beware of touts — CRPF charges no money for recruitment. If anyone demands money for selection, report them to the nearest police station or the Presiding Officer at the recruitment centre.

Helpful Tips for Candidates
Tip 1 — Know Your Trade’s PET Standard Before You Register The physical standards vary significantly by trade in this CRPF Constable Tradesman recruitment 2026. For instance, Drivers, MMV, and Band candidates need to run 5 km in 24 minutes, while Cooks and Safai Karmachari candidates only need to cover 1.6 km. Know exactly which race standard applies to your trade before you start training — don’t prepare for the wrong event.
Tip 2 — Get Your Trade Proficiency Certificate Ready Early For most tradesman posts, you need to prove proficiency in your trade at the Skill Test stage. If you haven’t already, get a trade certificate or work experience letter from a relevant employer or training institution. At DV, documents like an ITI certificate for MMV or a Driving License for Driver posts are mandatory — applying without having these lined up will waste all your earlier effort.
